Welcome! We look forward to seeing you soon. Here are a few things you can expect during your visit.

HOW LONG ARE WORSHIP SERVICES?

A typical worship service at St Mark’s or St. James lasts approximately one hour. The worship style is more traditional in nature, including liturgy, hymns, and a message grounded in Scripture.  Most services wrap up with a final song and prayer.  You're invited to stick around in the entryway to meet someone new, grab a cup of coffee, or head out whenever you'd like.

WHAT'S THE CULTURE LIKE?

At St. Mark’s and St. James we want you to come as you are. Jeans and a t-shirt are totally normal (even our pastor dresses casually at times), but if you like to dress up more, that’s fine, too.  Our pastor will also wear a suit and tie, or clergy robe on various Sundays.

Worship is centered on both the first-time guest and the long-time Christian.  When you walk out the doors at the end of a worship service, our hope is that you will have experienced God in a way you haven’t before.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

Kids and families are a huge part of St. Mark’s and St. James! Each Sunday there is a time in our service where children are invited forward for a special message.  Children age 3 - 8th grade are welcome to participate in our Sunday School, whether they’re new to a church setting or familiar veterans.  They’ll have fun singing songs, playing games, doing crafts and experiencing God in an interactive and safe environment. We want to make sure your kids have a blast while learning more about Jesus every weekend!
